Since the establishment of the branch in 2014, the LSA CA has welcomed more than forty first class speakers, from emeritus professors to bestselling authors, eminent archaeologists, Lancashire-bred classicists, and experts in fields as diverse as Homeric epic, Gandharan art, Romano-British architecture, Greek democracy, Roman weaving, the historiography of global history, and ancient music.
