Are you aged 11-19 and fascinated by the ancient world? Would you like to hone your public speaking skills and present your ideas to a friendly and supportive audience? Would you like to meet Professor Hall and Dr Holmes-Henderson and be in with the chance of winning up to £200? Take part in our 2020 Classics Competition!
This year we are offering you the chance to tell us ‘Which three characters from the Ancient World would you invite to a party and why?’. A ‘character’ can be a real person, a fictional or mythological character and the Ancient World may include the Roman Empire, the Greek World and Ancient Egypt. We would love to hear your choices and why you think they would be interesting guests. For more information and all the dates and guidelines you need to know – see our Guidelines page.
